Pats might be Interested in Pat Williams - Clayton speculates

In the interest of accurately stating Claytons remarks, I changedthethread title.

I don't know if Clayton kicked over a rock and came to that conclusion so I won't mention it.

I think Clayton's daily agenda looks something like this:
10 a.m.: Post speculative tidbit; if no rumors heard, do something on Patriots (that always gets a response)
Noon: Lunch
1-6 p.m.: Get beauty rest for TV appearance.

I agree, but he needs more then 5 hours of sleep to get his beauty rest...

Can't lie, would love to have Pat Williams here, would be a great addition. Especially as far depth and plugging up the middle.

I hate Clayton as a member of ESPN- he doesn't fit the stereotypical athletic looking type.

I however, do admit he has very SOLID sources in the NFL and I respect his reports that he makes via twitter and articles etc...

I like this move and want it to happen soon. I want a VETERAN S and I do not care who

You realize he is a nose tackle, which is different than a safety right. Nose tackles, NT, play on the defensive line and are usually rally big guys. Safety's, S, are usually smaller, fast and hard hitting guys that play as far away from the line as possible.

Unless you are talking about Clayton, who is actually a pencil necked geek who works for ESPN. Now his build is probably closer to a safety's than a nose tackle's, but I would be rather disappointed if the Patriots signed him.

I still think he can move, and has at least half of what he was in the tank which is better than alot of Nose Tackles... couldn't hurt to see.
