Im going down Tuesday. I want to c how Wise matches up with NFL OL. I also want to c the battles with our CB's n the Jags outside receivers n who's looking to b in the mix for the 3D.

Expect: Bortles to throw more picks in one practice than JG has all Camp.

Hope for: Bortles to repeat that practice performance in the game.

The Jags are not my taste in cats

Hope for: Malik Jackson, Telvin Smith or Calais Campbell witness that the grass is in fact greener on the other side; therefore refusing to proceed their careers in Jacksonville in favor of...well...us

on a more serious note (although w Jags they aren't easy to find) . here some intro from Reiss:

The Patriots had Sunday off and will return to the practice field Monday at 9:30 a.m. for a joint session with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Monday's practice will be in full pads, according to Jaguars coach Doug Marrone. To this point in training camp, the Patriots have had nine practices and seven have been held in full pads.

So what should New England fans know ahead of Thursday's preseason opener?

    • Rookie RB Leonard Fournette, the No. 4 overall pick, has been impressive. That should mean some good work against the run for the Patriots D.
    • QB Blake Bortles has had more good days than bad, although a five-interception practice is on his camp résumé.
    • WR Allen Robinson could be a budding star, and at 6'3, 211 pounds, he's a different type of matchup than the Patriots see in practice on a regular basis.
    • The secondary is without some key parts, with top nickelback Aaron Colvinand 2016 first-round pick Jalen Ramsey still on PUP list
    • With veteran LT Branden Albert announcing his retirement, getting 2017 second-round pick Cam Robinson (Alabama) ready is crucial, as well as finding a left guard to play next to him.
____

Important side note: look at their pass rushers

BTW - rookies Smoot and Phillips were Pats pre-draft contacts
