Not looking past it, but given the non-conference opponent this week (meaningless in tie-breakers) and the conference opponent next week (huge in tie-breakers) it may be more important to have a 100% healthy Welker for Baltimore than a 75% healthy Welker for Atlanta. Add in the weather situation and I guess I can understand it. The one thing I don't get is having Welker stand on the sideline for 3 hours with a knee injury. Hopefully he can be in a nice warm and dry recliner somewhere watching the game.
