Same for Bourne the 49ers could use him.

Id wait until next year at least to trade bourne, trading him right now is bad business. 1- We just resigned him to a 3 year deal, would be pretty clownish to trade him a few months later and take on whatever dead cap hits there are next couple years as well. 2- hes at his low right now in terms of value. Coming off an acl tear hes going to take some time to get going again. Itd be pretty dumb to move him at this point. You lose nothing by letting the season play out and at least bringing him to camp next year to see what he looks like and the others look like.

Unless you can get like a 3rd for him or something but thats unlikely to me, like i said his value is at its low point right now

If freaking Tyquan caught that football yesterday we wouldn't be talking about Bourne Today. Seems like we can't win @ WR like this Team is cursed there.

he caught 2 more balls than he usually catches so...good day for Tyquan

That deep ball from Maye I could have caught it both times initially and on the tip. I would call it an uneven day for Tyquan he missed the Big one.

theyve been terrible man still a long way to go though i would collect as much intel as i can on the guys who are signed beyond this year. Osborne for sure there is no reason to keep him around

Gotta give it up to Boutte though he's been a pleasant surprise.

Yes big improvement from year 1 to year 2. Unless he completely ****s his pants down the stretch he should be safe for next year to see if he can improve further.

I hope Maye is cleared to play this weekend he's the reason why I'm even watching now.

Our Team's receiving numbers on a whole is so slow we really need some Playmakers on Offense.

Should be a top priority next year. I am pretty excited about what maye can do with actual playmakers. Hes already made the offense look decent while surrounded by crap thus far besides henry pop and boutte on some plays

We don't need an Adult in the room we Need a player.
Sure. And if the 49ers give us a "player" for Bourne take it and run. But my point is that it's likely to be some day 3 pick. Sure that pick has value, but so does having a veteran in the position group where you're hoping to develop some young guys that have shown maturity issues. Especially with a rookie QB that's still learning to lead himself, I think th benefit of keeping Bourne outweighs a late day 3 pick. Obviously depending on the final value of their offer (or another team's).

Personably I was expecting a little more from *Bourne* and less chatter from him *snitch*. I think he had more than enough time to knock the rust off, I'm fearing he might be done and we're seeing his end game. We could save close to $20 Mill if we can trade him.

Let’s wait until he has to tap his toes down inbounds. So far he hasn’t needed to do that this season. It was his problem last season, and we don’t know if he’s fixed it yet or not. Maybe that’s why they keep calling in cuts for him?

Guy makes 1 catch on a perfect throw, after dropping two gimmes, and now he's 'fixed'. You gotta love it.

Yeah he still has lots of improving to do, but the toe taps weren’t the only concern. He literally did nothing last year aside from some meaningless preseason plays. So there’s definitely some improvement in his game.

@timesync admit your wrongness like a man! Or like a woman or a they; I don't mean any prejudice.times

Anyways - admit it! Pats did move and get a 2026 6th rounder!

@amhed, I'm glad we could put some pressure on them! As to being wrong, I'm still not quite sure.
