Pats/Eagles no longer the national 4:25PM game on FOX Week 13

Fox has a history of being reluctant to promote a game with an AFC team - noticeably more so than CBS with NFC teams. Fox would much prefer to promote NFC teams, since they have the contract to broadcast NFC games.

Carolina is Fox's new favorite team, and understandably so. While this move sucks for out of town pats fans, it is not all that surprising.

I see this as FOX hedging their bets. If you recall it seemed that all Pats 1 o'clock games at the end of 2007 that were flexed to 4:25 or later. By moving the Panthers to this time it increases the odds that they'll be able to showcase an undefeated team at that time.
