Bills roster is going to come back down to earth once other teams in the AFC get the memo. The Jets are going to be sitting at the bottom of the division while the Dolphins and Pats could make them sweat in time. I don't think anybody saw the Colts fly out of the gates in 1999 like they did.

If the Patriots are successful in their rebuild, the Bills will find out the hard way that they just blew their 4 to 5 year window to get to and win a SB. In all that time, they only made it to ONE AFC Championship Game. From here on in, the Bills will be dealing with Vrabel and Maye, and not Mayo and Mac Jones/Brissett.

The way I've been looking at it as a fan is we've been seemingly rebuilding since brady left. The organization thought they were rebuilt in 2021 after spending in FA and even at one point that season being atop the AFC at 9-3 that season. As we know it was all fraudulent. Vrabel, McDaniels and Drake feel like we are headed in the right direction.. I made a mention in a post yesterday.. that the fact the team chose to resign Ben brown and demon demontrey Jacobs off the 32nd ranked OL is and admission they felt the coaching was the problem. As for the bills they best hope Allen stays healthy because if he has to miss any significant amount of time they will be picking in the top 5 like we have the last few seasons. I feel confident Vrabel can design a game plan to slow Allen.

That’s just it, they haven’t done anything with this 5 year window. This Chiefs team might have been the weakest of their run (between this year or last year’s iteration). They let a suspect offense hang 32 on them.
