Wow. First time I've seen the kick off return. The way Maroney skated down the touchline past those defenders made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Thanks. I was amazed that the NFL Films highlights didn't include Maroney's return - the sort of run we've all been looking forward to since we watched those Minnesota highlights.

Wow, great stuff. Finally saw some of the highlights ESPN wouldnt show.


Not all that thrilled with the music selection and video was kind of grainy in about half the scenes; but still a bookmarkable one.

Maroney can flat out fly. That was AWE.......SOME.

Did we get an extra flag on that Bill WR hammering Samuel out of bounds on his interception return??? That looked like a late flagrant to me (but could just be the short video clip at high speed).

On the Maroney return, check out how he smoothly, quickly and intelligently he switches carrying the ball from his left to right so that its always away from the defender. Sounds simple but you'd be surprised at how often that is not done.

Thanks for posting. I was finally able to see the Maroney return. That was a thing of beauty. I couldn't believe how he was able to turn the corner up the sidelines and get by those 3 or so defenders. It looked like he was going to be pushed out of bounds for sure. Dan Dierdoff actually made a good point. He said that Maroney weighs about 40 pounds more than most kick returners. I didn't really think much of it, but he is able to break tackles that most kick returners wouldn't be able to. Also, good point about Maroney switching the ball to his outside hand. I didn't notice it at first, but I rewatched it. It was very smooth and a veteran-like move.
