NEP will have two "veterans"

The Pats also reinstated two players from the reserve military list. Fullback Eric Kettani and wide receiver Tyree Barnes were both signed as undrafted free agents out of Navy in 2009 and were placed on the list on July 23 of that year. They finished their commitment to the service in May of this year and will now get a chance to continue their football careers.

They are veterans. The real kind. I don't believe in the concept of "sports hero" unless you are referring to someone like Pat Tillman or Bob Feller.
