Of course there was zero mention in that hack florio's piece about the Colts signing Branch before the playoff game last year.

Somehow he get's a lot of scoops, but he's such an unapologetic Patriot hater it's hard to go to that site. That's why I went with the NESN story (came across it their first anyway). Conspiracy theory as per usual. It's not like we lost our #1 RB for the year or anything.

Florio's stupid, Lewis hasn't been with the Colts for 2 months, there's no information to glean from him. Of course when we signed Don Jones from Miami before week 1 that was "for information" just like Woodhead all those years ago. The players say to a man that they aren't "pumped for information" when theses signings happen, even though Lewis hasn't even signed.

Maybe Florio should make the connection that Lewis was in Cleveland when Lombardi was instead. There's a lot more of a connection to be made there.
