Vince Wilfork announces on Twitter that the Patriots will not be picking up his 2-year team option. He is now set to be a free agent.

Damn sucks but Revis abd DMac are more important to the team at this point, hopefully this means they retain both. Also hope 75 comes back at some point, love the big guy.

Well, in his time here he made a ton of money, wore the Flying Elvis with class, played at an All-Pro level, gave back to the community and won 2 Super Bowls. He benefited from the relationship with the organization as did the team and the fans. A great 11 year career with the team.

Hate to see it end but sometimes business is business.
