The backside LB or the back side Safety has to fill that back side hole. They keep over running it.
The Pats never should have given up that last possession. This is a game where you have to stay aggressive. When you are undermanned it's imperative that you don't let up the pressure on the defense.
The OL protected Brady as good as any game outside of last week
blount got some traction there at the end. This one is going to be won in the trenches. Get him going second half and we are in business. No run game will equal no win on this field. Would love to have seen lewis on this track....
Could you imagine this offense with just one of Brown/Bryant/Wheaton? Hell, give #12 even Sammie Coates and he'd turn him into the next Moss. Pittsburgh has a luxury they don't deserve.
I am still very confused by that last series. Don't tell me weather and injuries, there is a whole 1/2 left. What are we going to do run it every down from now on? That made NO sense regardless of injuries and weather... IMHO.
At this point IDK what you do on D if you are the Patriots. Just try your best i guess and when they do pass be sure to cover well and get a pass rush.
three straight runs...just horrendous, we had 3 timeouts..
that hit on hightower was dirty. guy went right after his knee. think it was virgin green. cant beat us, just go knee hunting. all of them have learned from dirtbag tj ward.
have to stop the run or we will lose. get brock in 3rd and longs....and bring pressure. we need shorter fields BADLY. this offense with missing pieces cant sustain 80 yard drives.
