Hi SoCal. I'm thinking of taking my wife down to San Diego for a few days and the game, then driving over to Vegas for a few days. I'm from Vancouver and haven't been to San Diego since I was a kid.

Are you from the San Diego area, and if so what is the best area to stay? I'd like a hotel that is in an area with nice restaurants and shops for my wife.

Also, does anyone here know which section Pats fans will be sitting in for the game?
