If the reports are true could someone explain to me why we would keep signing slot receivers.It has to be either Amendola or Edelman. Sinking a bunch of money in slot receivers is crazy.

While the Edelman discussions are going on, Bob Kraft is working on a list of excuses as to why the Pats didn't sign him. He can't blame the agent
this time. He is the most Patriot friendly agent in the business. The
one who set up the deal reducing Brady's cap hit by 5 million per year. Too bad the Patriots didn't get serious a month ago.

But it was Welker and his agents fault... Pats offered a better deal. Welker decided to get a better offer somewhere else, and the pats couldn't risk waiting to see if he would stay or not.
