1. It's no big secret Dallas needs a stud Safty.

2. Why Tuna and Sparano can't utilize Crayton this year is mystifying-However, he emerged as Drew's favorite in '05(and Vinny's in '04). He's fast, quick, and has GREAT hands-he's really something special. Brady is gonna love this guy.

My vote for stupid post of the year.

Samuel isn't a Safety.
CB would be as much of a problem as WR if we traded Samuel.
We have plenty of Crayton quality WR, getting in synch with Brady is the issue.

Samuel is a CB.

Patrick Crayton, a third or fourth string WR for a starting CB? Wha?

Why the hell would you want to get rid of the only DB we have with an INT? With Indy, NYJ, Chicago, and Jax on the schedule??

Did you watch ANY games last year???

Well he IS a Disgruntled Tuna Fan... Tuna as you may know poses risks when consumed in large ammounts due to the mercury content... mercury can accumulate in the body until low level toxicity is reached causing a myriad of side effects, not the least of which is .... madness.

Go with the Chunk Light, avoid the Albacore.

He's a cowgirl fan. What do you expect.?

They have Watkins and Williams.

They both suck against the pass. They do need a great Safety - although Samuel isn't that.

DTF, please don't let people put you off. I very much appreciate it that you come to this board. It's always good to have fans from other teams here if they aren't trolls or out to talk smack. So welcome from me!

I don't think that your idea is a particularly good one for the reasons explained but the reactions were excessively hostile, in my opinion. I'm afraid that there have been a number of thread-starters lately who have gotten on people's nerves.

Don't encourage him, next he'll propose trading Bledsoe for Brady

What else would we have to give up?

Well said! DTF, you've been a welcome visitor, please don't allow the negativity to put you off.

Despite the perceived need at WR, I don't think the Pats are as bad off as many would claim, and losing a young, healthy, starting CB with experience playing in two Super Bowls would not be in this season's best interest. We do have a #4 CB who pulled down 3 ints in a short NFLE season, he may be able to develop at FS if you want to consider him.

this is stupider than Samuel for Moss..where are our corners then? we dont want a #3 WR for our best CB

Good point - we can't give up Samuel - what the hell would we have at CB afterwards?
