I got a new theory that yesterday's game was a pass offense practice session. With a 24-zip lead I think the Pats decided to give the receivers some work in game conditions. They certainly need it and the 28&39 duet are far ahead of the air force. Sure we could have killed a bunch of minutes, but BB may have seen an opportunity to build some rapport between Brady and the new guys as well as seeing how well they've learned the system. It took a couple fluke plays and some poor tackling to expose the risk to be minimal but not zero.

This snub of basic Run the Clock wisdom may have led to a bit of complacency on the D's part. But I'm sure there's a lot good non-tackling footage being shown in F'boro.
