Pacman Jones had a scheduled visit with the NFL commisioner concerning his behavior and suspension. I guess he had some time to kill before his appointment, so he went to a strip club. Not that anything is wrong with that........normally. But when your in trouble, and some of your troubles happened at that type of venue, wouldn't a prudent man stay away. Heard it on PTI. Anyone still want to sign him up?

that question is pretty funny do you want to sign him or you just dont get it?

Ya i heard that on ESPN earlier...pretty funny that his latest "trouble" was at a strip club and then he's there before the most important meeting of his life. Mabey he should have just called the comish and had him meet him there:D

It must have been funny, him telling the commisssioner, "You don't need to suspend me. I'm a different person now. I've changed my life, stopped going to clubs, yadda yadda yadda"

and Goodall saying, "Oh, when was the last time you were at a strip club?"

BUSTED

Good luck with the appeal, pacman.

He's rich enough to hire his own around-the-clock stripper, maybe he should try that.

but then that would lead the the same thing as the former steelers player a pimping charge

LMAO timing is everything. If Pacman can't at least manage to lay low the night before his meeting:bricks:

I think it's been fairly well established that Jones is a friggin' moron.

So Pacman went to a legal establishment and this is a problem? Is Pacman banned from bars and stripclubs? I know hes supposed to be changing his life but I still think this whole thing is ridiculous. Does Pacman have a curfew now too? Is he allowed to drink alcohol in his own home? He's been convicted of exactly nothing. I think the NFL is taking this whole thing way too far. As long as he's not doing anything illegal I really don't see the problem.

Nobody's saying he should be punished just for going to a strip club, what they're saying is he should really try to keep himself out of places where there is potential for trouble, given that him and trouble have a way of finding each other.

It's not illegal for a recovering compulsive gambler to be in a casino, it's just not a good idea.

I agree completely, I just can't believe that this is a story. I just don't know how much potential for trouble there really is. Yes he was in a stip club where something happened once. How many times do you think he's been to a strip club in his life?

and for the quotes that follow...

Strip clubs and the visiting thereof is not the problem. It was the night before. I mean really. Things you don't do: burn out after getting pulled over, swear at grandma's house, GO TO A STRIP CLUB THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU WERE PUT ON SUPER-PROBATION FOR BEING AT A STRIP CLUB WHEN YOU WERE PARTY TO ATTEMPTED MURDER/AGGRAVATED ASSAULT.

Of course, if you've ever seen a Pac-man interview, the complexities of life are lost upon him.

It shows absolutely horrible judgment, and that doesn't exactly help his appeal. The casino analogy is a good one.
