Our corner matchups vs. Denver WR's

We need to get constant pressure on Manning. The rest will fall into place...too many weapons to try to individually take them out gotta get after Peyton.

Here is how I attack Denver.

Be in nickel 100% of the snaps and dare them to run. Hillman (I think his name is) Is the only good RB they have. Either he carries the rock till the wheels fall off like the did for Moreno or they rotate and are forced to try to beat you with a lesser back. Also every time they run is 1 less Manning pass.

I don't think the Patriots will be able to get pressure on Manning. They just don't have the personnel. You are probably going to have to hope for great coverage and if Manning holds the ball too long a coverage sack or strip sack.

Take out D. Thomas with Revis. The Broncos can beat you without him but it is harder.

To me though the key this game is going to be the Patriots OL. If they protect Brady from Ware/Miller then I think the Patriots O can force it into a game of who can score the most against the DBs. This is the type of game where the Patriots have the edge.

I have to kinda of disagree with Revis on DT, DT is very physical and has very quick feet, if browner can match his speed then I like him on DT better. However revis did nicely against Marshall who is also very physical. But I don't think you can stop DT only limit the damage. browner on JT makes sense also unless they think Collins can handle JT?

Dennard or Revis on Sanders, but I think Dennard is out of his league against Sanders. Maybe reroute Sanders if possible to mccourty. I don't know because this is a pick your poison scenario.

As mentioned already JT and DT are the two guys you have to focus on, I don't think Sanders can win it by himself, you see what happens when you don't have DT or JT, reference Decker now in NY.

Ugh this is death by a thousand cuts, lol. Guess I have no answer, that's why I don't coach.

Kontra - based on your posts/readings on the Broncos website, what's your take on their general feelings about the upcoming game?
