OTish: Great piece on the SB42 ring-stealer

Hope the movie comes out soon, I will pay to watch it. I lived in Danvers in the 60s and worked in Boston.

David Tyree is the real ring stealer............but the past three championships have mitigated the pain.

But as much as we see the pain in SB42, just remember that the Seahawks probably feel the same way about Malcolm Butler.

Did the Pats prevent a perfect season?

No, but they did prevent what would have been a really scenario for the Seahawks fans.

Think about it, if the Seahawks score and win SB 49 then they not only would have won back to back Super Bowls, which immediately puts them on another level from a historical perspective.....BUT they would have won those back-to-back Super Bowls against the two greatest QBs of all time, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. I mean, wow, as if winning wasn't good enough to throw that accolade on top of it would have been surreal. But alas, Malcolm was the party pooper and foiled their place in history.

I thought this guy was the SB 42 ring-stealer?

The writer decribes this mullet-wearing career criminal loser as a "typical Patriots fan". It was hard to win me over after that, though it would make an interesting movie, as long as this scum doesn't profit from it.

SB42? Never heard of it.

Yeah, the whole piece was littered with bias like that.

Wow! Never heard of that story. Dude should be celebrated not imprisoned...
