There are two quarterbacks not in the Super Bowl, partly because of the lack of protection. The difference is that one is not whining, having many more problems that day than protection, and having a just a bit more class, somewhat easier after winning three Super Bowls.
Obviously, Manning should have given much more credit to the PITT defensive schemes and play. However, that is really difficult when he thinks that he has the best OL in the conference, and probably does have one of the top three. And obviously, he's not used to playing the came looking at the sky. On the other hand, Brady recalls the beginning of the year, and recalls spending plenty of time getting knocked down.
