Now that Damon Huard is likely to miss tomorrows game, the speculation has begun:

Reading this article brought back to mind my thoughts when I heard Hermie on ESPN saying this:
'Almost' a recurring nightmare ? Amazing from a guy who had different starters in 4 of five years at the Jets, and lost three QBs in a row (Pennington, Fiedler, and Testeverde) just last year.
Herm will likely be forced to start the rookie Brodie Croyle, who may 'become the first NFL player with the body type of a 10-year old boy to take a snap in the NFL'.
I wonder what the over-under is on the number of quarters Brodie lasts ?
Also, it seems as Herm is set to screw us yet again - this time in the Seahawks draft pick value race.

http://www.kcchiefs.com/news/2006/09/19/qa_with_herm_edwards__919/Believe me, I couldn’t anticipate in my wildest dreams a quarterback who’s gone 80 games straight is hurt in his first game. That was the furthest thing from my mind. That’s like a nightmare almost, a recurring nightmare. But you sit there and say, ‘Ok, what am I gotta do?’
