Sherman wasn't totally horrible as the Packers coach. I remember seeing his record there, its not bad at all. After the disaster they experienced paying a "name" coach money, I can understand the Bidwell's decision to go with the unsexy but experienced choice.

Multiple league sources tell us that the Arizona Cardinals have selected Texans assistant Mike Sherman to be their next head coach. It's not known whether a contract has been finalized, but the word is that Sherman is getting the job.


Bad choice imo. They have some talent and the right coach could turn them around but not him

This is terrible news....I hope its wrong.

Dennis Green WAS the problem, even more than Graves IMO. The team has talent. Green just wasn't the guy to use it correctly. Green was stubborn to a fault and would not admit mistakes. Just terrible at game management.

Sherman is not any better. This is not going to be well received by Cardinal fans. This smacks of a bland "Jim Fassel" type hire.

I hope I'm wrong.
