And if I win I'll be on the phone to Kraft about renting a banquet room at Gillette so we can all go celebrate the Pats after the game, win or lose. And with the kind of dough that I'd win I'd be able to set up charter flights and limos to get you all there and back.

Btw, that's an obscene amount of money to hand over to one person and they should have at least 20 winners.

It really is way too much money.

But I'd be glad to take that fall for the country and relieve someone of that burden

After taxes the winner would have at least 3/4 of a billion dollars. Even my wife couldn't spend all that money.

Speaking of the little lady, she asked me this morning if she could pay off her girlfriend's 2 or 3 hundred thousand dollar mortgage if we won. All I could do was laugh.

Not sure what you mean by this. Please clarify. Lotteries are a form of regressive tax on the poor. I consider it my duty to protest against them and want them abolished. I find it abhorrent that things like the public education system in some states is being funded largely from the wages of the poorest and most destitute in the country be preying on their poverty and need for hope. If lotteries were abolished, the regular progressive tax system will have to be adjusted to fill the balance and the poor will be vastly better off. Those earning less than $15k per year spend on average approximately 5% of their annual wages on lotteries. It's despicable.
