I'm traveling to Minnesota this year for Christmas and I'm hoping someone can point me to a place where I can catch the Pats/Jets game on the 21st of December. I'll be staying about half an hour outside of Minneapolis (Long Lake, to the northwest) so if you know of anyplace nearby that might have the game on, please let me know! Thanks!

Googling Minneapolis Patriots Bar produced the following: 508 Bar and Restaurant; www.Bar508.com. Good luck!

Yep thanks, I saw that too. I just was wondering if anyone had actually been somewhere like this or like JJs Clubhouse (http://www.jjsclubhousemn.com/archives/649) which claims to have all NFL channels and knows either to be somewhat Pats friendly.

I'm pretty sure "Minnesota nice" does not include non-Vikings fans!

Another: Psycho Suzi's Motor Lounge. Run/owned by Boston native.

I live in Minneapolis, and there isn't one. If you're staying in Long Lake, making a long trek to the Twin Cities is only going to be worth it if you want to watch the game. The odds of finding a Patriots group out here is very, very unlikely.

Psycho Suzi's is a hipster place that has signs on their TVs that say that there will never be sports on them. So I'd definitely stay away from that one. JJ's Clubhouse is nothing special and there will not be Pats fans in there. Just find a place that has the Direct TV ticket and hope for the best. There simply aren't giant pockets of Patriots fans out here. My brother is the only Pats fan I talk to in MN.

Interestingly enough, I used to bartend at a place that had the ticket, and I'd occasionally get one younger kid who'd moved out here to live with his gal that would watch the Pats. As I was always wearing my #12 on Sundays my place became the place that the 3 Pats fans in MN would go to. One of them was Tom Brady's uncle! Tom's mother's side of the family is from MN. Very nice man, he and I became pals and every now and then he'd bring me a hat or something cool. Unfortunately I haven't seen him in a few years.
