I agree with your point on what is deserved. I'll believe it'll happen when I see it. If Goodell has the balls to do that to the Maras it will be because the other 31 owners grew them for him.

I didn't get a chance to see any of his antics and I haven't seen any clips or even any mention of them yet. The NFL has already gone easy on him.

How about the Steelers center, #72, launching himself headfirst at the Broncos safety for a big helmet to helmet hit well after the play was over? The Broncos player had to come off the field for a while.

Well every CB that Beckham lines up across from is going to do the exact same thing Norman did - get overly physical and chatty with him early. After Norman slammed him to the turf, Beckham missed what would have been a walk-in TD. Norman, who is a douche himself, was clearly in his head. Beckham will get older, though, and with that age will come wisdom. Even so, he still caught what should have been the game-tying touchdown if the Giants had any semblance of a defense.

i was discussing the OBJ VS Norman disaster, which was actually more entertaining then teh end of the pats titans game

I was flipping back and forth hoping to see one of those two getting ejected.

To be fair, Norman played like a super punk today also.

He's absolutely skated by all the criticism he deserves, probably because of how egregious the headhunting spear by OBJ was. That dude definitely gets under opposing WR's skin as part of his gameplan.

When Butler covered OBJ, and he pretty much shut him down, you could tell there was a little jawing going on, but it seemed friendly and you could tell OBJ respected Butler. So it tells me Norman must have been a pretty big **** to get him to lose it like he did.

Not making excuses for him, he is a professional an should have kept his cool. Norman is not innocent in this at all though.

I've been thinking about this situation and we are all correct to be pounding on Beckham for his antics. I know people have mentioned that Josh Norman was a douche, but I can't agree. Unless he was talking about Beckham's family, trash talking is part of the game. Malcolm Butler talks trash all the time. We've seen it.

IMHO, this speaks volumes about Coughlin and his coaching staff. Someone should have pulled Beckham off the field, figuratively, if not literally. There is no way they should have let it escalate to the point it did. You can't tell me that one of the numerous offensive coaches didn't see it what was happening as things escalated. Even if we limit it to the Receivers Coach, The Offensive Coordinator and Coughlin, one of them should have seen it. The coaching staff didn't do anything. They let it go They didn't get him off the field so that he couldn't be a danger to himself, never mind the team.

IMHO, this is one of the cases where the team should be fined as well as whatever punishment Beckham gets..

It reminded me of the infamous Steve Smith- Aquib Talib showdown in reverse. Except that OBJ's meltdown was even worse than Talib's.

There are rumors out there that Norman was using homophobic slurs towards OBJ. If they are true, then Norman should be suspended. But like I said they are rumors so who knows the truth but the players. But OBJ should be done for 2015 regular season.
