just a suggestion...........i guess the refs today were giving us a warning of what is to come in terms of bad calls next week............
the nfl seems to be fixed sometimes like the nba (especially nba finals)

I predict that if the Patriots are up, in the fourth quarter, there will be a questional PI call against the Patriots that will help put the Colt's back in the game

Even my Jets friend was texting me about how terrible some of those calls were. The offensive PI to Gronk and one of those late defensive PIs really stood out. Oh and the total lack of Pitt holding calls.

Still, I always say good teams overcome bad calls.

And the way the zebras were spotting the ball tonight was awful, e.g.: on the last play of the 1st qtr, WR Mike Wallace caught a 3rd/7 pass, Chung laid him out while the ball clearly still seemed short of the 1st down (Squealers' 41), but the zebras gave him the 1st down, anyway. And NBC never showed a replay of it, the fargin' bastiches.

I also agree with the OP: the Pats absolutely must stop committing these mostly needless penalties. PayaTon will already receive the lion's share of favorable calls next week as it is, without the Pats giving him any more of them.
