OT: Massachusetts Pirates arena football

Anyone been to any of these games? I'm surprised to see this televised (NESN+); happened by chance to find this broadcast tonight vs. Carolina Cobras at the DCU Center in Worcester, not sure if it's live or taped. The game is fast-paced but the blue 50-yard field is kind of hard on the eyes.

Given how expensive sporting events are, this is something I'd be able to make a family event.

I go to Jacksonville Sharks games sometimes. It's a fun, cheap way to spend a night. The halftime show, with Golden Retrievers performing stunts, was hilarious.

I attended one last week- it is about as uneven as you would expect, with some head scratchers, but also some amazing plays. Overall a pretty good time, and at least somewhat real football. Our halftime was little kids playing flag football.
