heh, thats part of the issue, apparently. The POPO caught him. Perhaps the Jets should get the cop for CB? he may be faster...

i think we should get the cop for ST..Miller has done well against us in return game..errr

Re: Jesters can shutup about high morals now...

Miller had that rep during his draft, though some hereabouts wanted him pretty badly. Herm's leftovers growing stale on Eric's plate.

Re: Jesters can shutup about high morals now...

You knew it was only a matter of time before Miller got in trouble. The guy had several incidences in college including one a few weeks before he was drafted.

Funny thing is, Jet fans say we always brag about our high character guys. No, the media does. Those idiots are the one who made up what a "Mangini guy" is. Pretty hypocritical, no?

"NEW YORK (May 21, 2007) -- New York Jets kick returner Justin Miller was arrested early May 20 and charged with third-degree assault after a fight at a New York City nightclub."

Guess the Jets join the fraternity of troubled teams. Not sure this transgression would warrant a dismissal from the Patriots, but can you think of the last Patriot that did anything like this under BB? Will be interesting to see if Mangini cuts him--I'd be impressed if he does.

Good thing Bledsoe retired. With his history of bar/club incidents, another incident would had seem him get booted for sure. Assault with a deadly weapon, aka a 6'5" NFL QB? I think that was a Parcell's timeframe, not BB.

So much for the kudos to Mangenius for attempting to motivate them with controversial boxing video as their inspiration.

The master wisely chose non violent motivators like Shackleton or Secretariat who displayed stamina, determination and perseverance. The student chose an individual who absorbed punishment, hit the Schnapps and then pummeled his adversary. Only problem here is the adversary ducked and he hit a woman...and then to make matters worse he did what a PR does, he ran...

Be careful what you wish for, Eric.

Now tell us jets fans.... How many pats players have punched a woman in the face. Spin it any way you like jets fans. What was this guy doing at a nightclub fighting? Looks like charector issues could be a problem with the jets

Jets JUstin Miller arrested for PUNCHING woman in the face

How many pats players have had issues like this? Looks like the "character issues" the jets are speculating about are within there own team.

Why start another thread on this?

Re: Jets JUstin Miller arrested for PUNCHING woman in the face

Why post asking why? Thats what mods are for.

It doesn't matter now that it's merged, but you posted in the original thread before you started your own. Just wondering.

Over on the Jets forums all you've seen for the past half year or so is, "BB and his team are a bunch of low life thugs." How did they get this perception? Because our team committed our classless crimes on the field instead of at the clubs. What's worse... having a player or two who overdid their celebrations of a crucial playoff victory or having a player who's punched a civilian in the face?

Turd standings... NE bringing up the rear with a 0.

Miami 3

New York 3

Buffalo 0

New England 0

Justin Miller is a bonehead and probably could be labeled as a thug and I wouldnt argue against it, but lets not forget about your first round pick. Before the entire board runs to defend him, I am a huge Miami fan but dont tell how this guy is know a changed man and a sweetheart. Most teams have guys who disgrace themselves and the organizations, some more then others. Supposedly he went to punch a man and he ducked and he hit a woman. Stil does not justify anything. Thats my 2 cents.

What about our first round draft pick? As far as I know he was never charged of any crime.. He was involved in a fight... On the field, not at 4:30am..

OK I know we tend to defend our players but he stomp on a man's head on the field. Im not arguing if one is worse then the other but are you going to turn your patriot blind eye to that b/c he's your guy?
