OT: How do you rate Mike Tomlin?

They actually play a 3-4. He kept **** Lebeau to be the defensive coordinator, and his pressure based 3-4 defense.

The funny part is you say you are looking forward to him installing the Tampa-2. So you criticize him for playing a 4-3 (which he doesn't do) and then look forward to him installing the 4-3 (which hasn't happened yet and won't happen this year).

I stand corrected, last year they played the 3-4 with some 4-3 variations because they couldn't implement the defense Tomlin wanted. I consider the he fact that the Steelers are getting rid of their 3-4 players like Porter and the other linebackers and drafting 4-3 players is an indication of their long term committment to the 3-4 defense just like the retention of the the 70 year old coach as the DC.
If Tomlin is still there in 2 years, they will playing the Tampa -2 defense and Lebeau will be retired.
