Personally, I think Spagnuolo deserves another year in St. Louis, but that's just me.

Doubtful. Especially with the way that Patricia seems to have made the jump in terms of adjusting on the fly.. The Pats need players who can stay healthy more than anything else. And I'd put money that many of the injuries are due to the lack of an off-season program.

I agree. After his debacle with the Broncos Josh McDaniels ruined another franchise and cost another person his job. Hiring McDaniels to destroy the Rams offense, drafts, and Bradford's development was probably the biggest mistake of Spagnualo's HC career so far. The Rams offense is dead last in the NFL in points per game (11 per game), total yards, and 3rd down percentage.

No, they were eliminated with their 38-10 loss to the Lions last week.

He was born and lived in Whitinsville until he moved to Grafton, where he played high school football before playing collegiately at a Springfield area college, I believe. I heard this afternoon on WFAN that he is headed to Philly as their DC next year.

I don't know what ESPN pays Gruden, but Shanahan is working under a five year, $35 million contract. Kraft keeps BB the highest paid HC in the NFL, so he's probably getting a little over that. So, Gruden would probably want Shanahan money or just a little less, say between $6 and $7 a year for five years.

Gruden is still a young guy (doesn't turn 50 until 2013), so it's hard to imagine that he wouldn't take another gig with a big contract.

That's odd. I was watching ESPN last night and they were talking about this and "re-confirmed" that he was not going anywhere.

according to espn the chargers were the team nobody wanted to play. i guess no one wanted to play them except the lions. i was hoping the chargers would win a couple of games and save norv's job. if gruden does go there, he's got a pretty big rebuilding job on his hands.

Umm...because he SUCKS. Period! This guy was another promoted aide to an assistant's assistant, and because he came out of Belichick's Stable.....he was going to be a genius too. Just like mangina and we all know how that one turned out. I think mistakenly he got all the credit for the 2007 high powered offense....when in reality it was BB pulling those strings....McD is a fraud.
