Only problem with that plan is you need the officials to be complicit (see Pats v. Bears, Super Bowl XL, Denver v. Pats '05 playoffs)

As for the last example, you not only need the officials to comply, they must be willing to throw a flag a couple of seconds after the ball has bounced incomplete.

I can't remember a SB team in my lifetime using such a lame play as that...they don't deserve to go to the dance using crap plays like that...put bags on their helmets...they need them to hide.
