Hello everyone,
This isn't Patriots or sports related, but as part of this community I wanted to share this program with you. Every October I participate in an event called Extra Life, which is a 24-hour video game marathon that benefits the Children's Miracle Network. It works a lot like a walk for the cure, except instead of pledging money for X number of miles, people pledge the participants money to play video games for 24 hours straight, no breaks.
100% of all money raised goes to support a local Children's Miracle Network hospital (in my case, I chose Boston Children's), with the event raising over half a million dollars for cancer research and treatment last year.
I don't know if this kind of posting is against forum rules technically, so I won't link anything here yet. If I can get permission to do so, I'll post some links to more information about the program for anyone interested in participating, as well as my donation page for anyone who feels generous enough to donate.
