Did anyone else see Carson Palmer's chat with Boomer Esiason this morning? Boomer tried to bait him and Palmer replied, "I'm not going to 'guarantee' or 'promise' anything, I just hope our fans stick with us."
That's refreshing - a guy who knows his team is having trouble and doesn't respond by making stupid, pompous statements to the media. The "guarantee" has become virtually meaningless the way someone makes one every other week these days.
It could be argued that not making a guarantee makes it seem like he doesn't have confidence in his squad, but you can look at anything anyway you want.
