The Pats' offense, to its great credit, is giving up a ridiculously small number of TOs.

That makes scoring defense numbers misleadingly good, and to a small extent it may make yardage allowed numbers misleadingly bad. Basically, the opposition is getting very, very few short fields.

Until the last couple games, it was also the case that the offense was BENEFITTING from very few short fields. So their scoring numbers also understate their performance. 5-8 on FGs, none of them very long, is also a bit harsh, although only by about .5 points/game averaged over the season.
