That should be the default behavior for all plays such as that one.

Let the play run its course. Do the checking afterwards

Supporting - NO/SF
Neutral - Minn/Tex/Sea
Slightly Against - Tenn (they knocked us out so boo to them)
Actively rooting Against - KC (due to Hill and Kelce and their fan base being aholes) , GB (I just don't like Rodgers). PHI (Fans base is horrible)
AH HELL NO! - Ravens (among the worst fans sports and the Coach is a cry baby. Also Ray Lewis killed a guy and is STILL treated like a hero there. Then again it is Baltimore, murder isn't really looked down on there...)
