Re: Official UDFA Signings Thread

Be interesting to see were David Ball from UHN goes.

Ball signed on with the Bears.
Palko went to the Saints.

Re: Official UDFA Signings Thread

Texas A&M is reporting the PATS just signed Justin Warren as a UDFA.
I found this at KFFL.

Awesome. Warren started for four years at A&M. He was team captain. He was amongst the elite in rush defense. The big knock on him is his speed (sound familiar?). I wouldn't be surprised if both Warren and Lua make the team somehow. Warren is, at the least, a PS or IR candidate.

Re: Official UDFA Signings Thread

Anam. Interesting. I doubt he makes the team but being a BC fan and having season tickets the kid improved drastically from the start of 2006 to the end. His speed is good but not as great as it looks in his 40 time when he is on the field. He isnt a great tackler but he was a pretty good player overall late in the season. He even sealed up the win against Florida State with an INT in the endzone.

Did Darius Walker sign with anyone yet?

Supposedly he and David Ball signed with the Bears.

Pats sign UDFA ILB Justin Warren [merged]

According to KFFL, the Patriots have signed Texas A&M linebacker Justin Warren

Re: Pats sign UDFA LB

Solid upside run stuffing ILB, hopefully him or Lua will show something in camp.

Re: Official UDFA Signings Thread

Something tells me the Colts will sign the most UDFA

I'm hoping so! So far, it looks like we've got some good guys, including a guy from Harvard!

Re: Official UDFA Signings Thread

Why would we not take a runner on the RB from Notre Dame...thought the kid looked good.....I would like to see us go into the season with more behind Maroney than S. Morris and faulk

I expected the Colts to draft him with every pick we had from the fifth round on! Shows what I know. :) My guess is the Pats, Colts, and other teams thought that Walker was a third down back with average speed. I thought he had very similar ability to Dominic Rhodes, but my guess is the Colts are looking for a bigger back.

Re: Pats sign UDFA LB

We've had good luck with players with the last name Warren from Texas A&M.:D

Re: Pats sign UDFA LB

Love this signing. I thought for sure Warren would go in the 6th or 7th round. I've watched him for a couple years here at A&M, and every Aggie I know loves the guy. He's limited as an athlete, but he's tough as hell and goes 100%, and is very good against the run. He's my pick for this year's UDFA that makes the roster and contributes.

Re: Pats sign UDFA LB

What about him?,can somebody say something about him?

I like the Justin Warren Signing

I had Justin Warren on my list of late round LB's for NE, and I had him as my number one UDFA LB for NE. He's a good sized (6'2.5" 245lbs) run stuffing SILB. I really like the signing. Justin isn't fast, but he'll fit the Ted Johnson run stuffer role. Both Warren and Lua are run stuffers.

I guess so....I thought he would be drafted.......well I guess Chicago will see what he can bring to the table.....

Warren will be joining another Warren, defensive lineman Ty (not related), who also played at Texas A&M and Bryan High. Ty Warren was a first-round pick in 2003 by the Patriots, and has since been a member of two Super Bowl champion teams.

"It’s not really a bad team at all" Warren said. "I'm just trying to be an official member of it and go along for the ride."

Not really a bad team at all? This guy must not be the sharpest tool in the shed I guess........wow.....
