Tough to see where that wasn’t a catch.....bobbled a little on way over goal line when knee touched...that is probably it

The call was 100% correct the goal line means nothing here. In this type of catch the receiver must maintain control of the ball through the process (the process of catching the ball when a receiver is falling during the catch = you must maintain control of the ball through the process of falling down. During that process if the ball touches the ground it can't move otherwise you have not maintained control). This completed process determines if it is a possession. Without possession whether the goal line is crossed means nothing just as a catch in the endzone as the receiver is falling out of bounds requires the receiver to maintain control as he falls out of bounds and initially rolls on the ground. Exact same thing.
Blame the receiver -- it is his fault. He should have cradled the ball and rolled/used momentum to go into the endzone (which he could have done easily).
