Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread - Week 3 Texans @ Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

We've got to admit that Watson looks just like Russel Wilson. Dude is just as elusive and pretty darned accurate when he decides to pass.

Another thought: I HATE the draw play. It is essentially us saying we give up, here, we'll take no points. In Green Bay, they let ARod throw up some BS and occasionally he gets it. I wish they let Brady cut loose sometimes but I guess Bill knows what he's doing.

@luuked: what specifically did you "dislike" about this post? I could see how one may find the content disagreeable, but to I struggle to see what could be 'disliked' about the above post. I'd appreciate it if you could share with me what exactly you didn't like about the post. Maybe we could find some common ground and have a better understanding of each other's perspectives on the first half. A little empathy and healthy discourse would be welcomed in an otherwise toxic game-thread (as they always are).

Because you are trying to frame his issues around his cancer diagnosis when he had a perfectly good year in 2014 and 2016. His testicular cancer had nothing to do with anything. He wasn't elite before and he isn't now. But overall he is a reliable tackle.

Everyone screws up plays sometimes it is just more obvious when a tackle does it against an elite pass rusher. Take a look at the Bengals or the Texans if you wanna know what really bad OL play looks like.

Wish I could watch the game but I am stuck moving all day dangit. Hopefully I can catch the 4th but all I have is some radio and phone score updates. Sounds like an exciting game too :-(

This might be the most ******ed thing I have read since leaving the kneeling thread behind.

This team really needs to come out in the second half and dominate on both sides of the ball. This game's too close for my comfort.

Don't think that's a chemistry problem, 2 last throws looked hurried

On the throw to Cooks, TB did something I've rarely seen him do - he looked 90 degrees to his right as if expecting pressure. Then he whipped back around and threw a rope where only Cooks could possibly have gotten it - IF he'd come back.

Totally noticed that. It's like he heard footsteps or something. I was like why did Brady rush that throw lol

I think Brady was expecting Cooks to be coming back for that.

Maybe. But it also makes kinda sense that he was hugging the line to step out of bounds. Personally to me it looked like Brady was just spooked a bit on both throws and made them faster than necessary. Who knows.. at least on the Dola misfire we had a glorious close up of Brady going "****"..

Rush was getting home a lot more than they would probably like, they're up by 1, and get the ball back. Why risk a turnover?

Based on how often they got home on us during the playoff game and how our OL is weaker today, I actually think the protection has been good. Having said that, Tom looks a little jumpy.

Fouts crying again
