This game (so far) is an example of how this team is different from years past when defenses play tight in the middle and dare Brady to beat them deep. Here's the thing - the Texans are doing a great job of defending the run and the short passing game, which would typically be the bread-and-butter of the Patriots - but it's leaving them exposed deep, and this year, the Pats can take advantage of that, even without the Gronkster.
