Maybe their D really is the best.... Brady, if not for two prayers, is playing his worst game of the season...
Their D is very good . Whomever said it wasn't doesn't know anything about football

Scar needs to yell at the O'line or is it just one guy on the o'line who needs a good talking to? Josh needs to step up his coaching in the second half.
The whole team needs to be yelled

This team adjusts better than any after the half. Let's see what they can do. Friendly reminder- the Pats are winning right now. They just need to iron out the mistakes.

well, we played like hot garbage, turned the ball over twice, and we are up by 4..need a little flow here in the second, however we neutralize that pass rush, we need to do that...

Question. Lets assume the Pats win this game.

Does this make you feel more confident they can finish? Are you a believer in getting mistakes out of the way?

Can't see the Patriots continue to play poorly. I expect the Texans D to bring it (as they can't be too tired) and we should have some answers.

But fewer runs up the middle would help the offense. Have the get away from 3rd and longs.

Everyone relax. We are leading, we get the ball after halftime, and we are very good at second half adjustments.

Just going to throw this one out there. 1st and goal at the 1, three run plays to Blount. No weird pass plays where Lewis is the only target and Bennett tries to block like a comical sprite who can't find anyone to block from Madden 1996, no weird pass plays to your fullback. Run plays to Blount. The thing that worked all year.

Half time comments:

1. We have every right to be pissed. We essentially turned the ball over 3 times in the half and those mistakes gave Houston all their points.

2. I'm not worried about the protection. The 2 sacks and few hits are all thanks to good schemes. Good schemes can be adjusted to when you have a good staff and we have. I expect Clouney and Mercellous to be contained if not stopped. Neither can get by Solder or Cannon. The offense needs to be on the field more to get a rhythm going.

3. My biggest concern is the lack of run game. Our pass offense runs off the run game. Lets see if we can get that started.

4. Defense is fine. I worry about the big play/penalty but not that they can move the ball consistently.

5. Maybe this half can wipe some of the smugness off this media and fan base. If we survive it, and I think we will, it will do us a world of good in the long run.

I shall remember all the bandwagon jumping done here by the spineless turds masquerading as patriots fans

Take away 2 turnovers and it's a 17-6 game, tops. They'll play better in the 2nd half.

We have to play perfect mistake football after the half. Would just be fitting to have the largest point spread this weekend and end up having the closest game to the worst offense left in the playoffs. Hoping they can pull away. Could hardly ask more from the defense. They had a stupid penalty but have played relatively well. 2 back to back turnovers just screwed them. Offense really needs to figure some things out at halfitme. Especially with the Oline and running game.

disagree refs are letting them play: are you complaining about the edelman pushoff.
No I'm not the announcers. They're letting them play except for Rowe and Slater I guess...

And letting them play is idiotic and obviously favors the team with no offense or Superbowl aspirations. It lets them hang around and do dangerous crap that increases the likelihood of injury.

What pundits will say if we win: Patriots can be had. They've showed their weaknesses.

What pundits will say if we lose: Well I don't even want to go there.

Bottom line is we are facing a great D. Did people think we'd just March down the field on them?
This ain't a great defense. Stupid penalties and unlucky turnovers have cost us. Should be up 23-0 at least

All I heard all week is the Texans would get blown out. Where are all those morons?
Define blowout? I said 34-17. Is that a blowout?
