Sony is such a smart runner. Aimed himself right for the dive for the pylon there rather than trying to take on the tackler. He's not a tackle breaker like Dion Lewis or Zeke Elliot, nor does he have a fourth gear in the open field like a Barkley, but runners with his IQ stay around forever. Reminds me of guys like Pierre Thomas, Fred Jackson, and Curtis Martin.
He seems like a bigger James White in the way he runs. There's something about both of them that isn't so much about flash but about efficiency. It's exactly what you're talking about that somehow they compute the exact right path to take to make the maximum amount of yardage without having to do stiff arms, spin moves, etc.
