Wow. BIG money must be coming in on the Bills right now.

Line went from -2.5 last night to -1 this morning and now some handicappers have it as a pickem game.

That only happens when sharps pick one side last minute. I have no idea what they’re seeing that made them do that.

EDIT: Holy crap the Bills just moved to 1 point favorites. Patriots went from -2.5 last night to +1 today. That’s a 3.5 point swing in 12 hours. WTF???

- Double Diggs the entire game, allowing JC to shadow him and prove that he is a lock-down guy, with McCourty providing deep help.
- Sanders is not 100% and even with healthy he is no longer an impact guy, so you take your chances with single coverage.
- Don’t bail out Allen with long DPIs.
- Spy Allen with Dugger and/or Phillips, with the other guy covering the overrated Knox.
- Don’t over-pursue from the edge, get too far upfield and give Allen open rushing lanes, especially on 3rd and long.

Check all of those boxes and it’s a comfortable victory.

If we can run like we did last time, but also throw the ball more than 3 times I like our chances.

Wise is a big loss today
Chris Collinsworth appreciates your support in his effort to make Mr Wise the "best defensive player" on the Patriots.

That said, he is a loss just simply from a rotational aspect - he's one of those "just good enough" at both run and pass that he can plug in regardless of down and distance. He's not going to star, he's not going to create matchup problems - he'll make 1-2 "just good" plays a game.

How absolutely horrible was Duke Dawson to give up on him after a single year and yet somehow Williams is still around?

Maybe this info is wrong, but in DEF snaps, I see a % that is going down each week…
That's because of his injury.. He tried to play through it, but the Pats finally had to shelve him so he could fully heal.

with long DPIs.

This really depends on the refs. If they call it fair fine but we've seen this time again. Other team is allowed to grab and hold egregiously, Pats defenders graze the receivers with a finger and the ref furthest away from the play somehow sees it and calls it.

Same **** with the OL play. Other teams whole OL just blatantly holding guys on every play. Meanwhile Pats have a 30-40 yard run and oh look flag on the ground because Shaq Mason gently touched a guy 25 yards away from where the ball carrier was

God I hope not.

Line just moved back to a pickem.

Very weird.

Williams has been above average this year. Not sure why you're attempting to compare him to Dawson.. Not to mention that you're comparing different players. Dawson was more of a Slot Corner/Safety type player where as Williams has been decent on the outside.

Williams:
10 of 18 (55.9%) for 129 yards. 1 TD allowed and 5 PDs.

He's taken 238 defensive snaps in 11 games this year compared to 171 and 80 the previous two years.

The Patriots could do a lot worse for their #3 Outside Corner.

I agree, he is average, we can replace him
