I'm really not sure where we can go from here in terms of backup plans to Ridley for this year. The other options just aren't great.

That being said, flash forward to this time next year, I think we'll be happier to not have Ridley on the cap sheet and have that money to spend.

Titans want to fix their mistake of letting AJ Brown go. However Ridley is not even close to him and his contract is far overrated.

I am not all that upset losing out on Ridley per sea. I think they need to get a legitimate #1. That means they will have to explore the trade market. I think Aiyuk, Higgins, possibly Justin Jefferson, and a few others could potentially be had in a trade. The question is how much it would take to get them. The Pats have a lot of needs and don't have the luxury to trade a lot of high picks. Maybe for Jefferson, but not anyone else. And even then, I don't know if I would give up what is needed to get him since the Pats have too many needs.

BTW, Ridley isn't worth 4 years, $92 million with $50 million guarantees.
