Offensive line play

Offensive line has been great for a while now, since we ripped them in the first few games they really came together as a unit, all of them.

I would second half of the colts game, Mathis would disagree.

I don't think he'd have quite as easy a time with Vollmer as he did with Kaczur.

Good point, Mayo. Vollmer will bury him. But Light is going to need some TE help or something because Freeney will race around him like he always seems to do.

Of course, that is IF the Pats and Colts meet in the play offs.
A distinct possibility, methinks.

That's the same Matt Light who Dwight Freeney singled out as the most challenging OT he's played?

But yes, I would expect Light to get TE help. And I would expect Vollmer to handle Mathis by himself. And if Neal and Mankins are both healthy, I would expect them to neutralize Indy's interior pass rush. And that would make a huge difference.

Light typically does well on Freeney, as well as you could hope out of your LT. Mathis is the one that usually worries me, if we have both Vollmer and Light I think Indy has ALOT of trouble stopping Brady in crunchtime.

Now didn't he say that on WEEI?
That IS a local station. Is it not?
I think ol' Dwight may have just wanted to be diplomatic about it.
But I know there are many other Tackles who have trouble
with Freeney. He's not a Pro Bowler for nothing.
Don't mean to be down on Matt. Hard to find a replacement for him but...
It is what it is.

Vollmer has been the biggest surprise IMO..Freeny bot even a touch on Brady,

I hate to burst some bubbles but the Jags have one (if not the) worst pass rushes in the NFL.
