I won't be working, but will be in the hospital caring for my 11-month old son for his first Super Bowl. He had a bone marrow transplant a week ago today due to leukemia. The recovery process can be long, but I'll continue to be there for him. He'll likely be on my lap throughout most of the game. He won't remember it, but I'll treasure our time together during this game for the rest of my life.

I'm sorry to hear about your family's troubles. As a fellow father I can only imagine how difficult of a time you are going through. You and your son will be in my prayers. I hope you enjoy the game.

Not only off on Sunday, but took a vacation day on Monday as well. I'm either going to want to spend the day reveling in victory, or I'm going to want to avoid people altogether (for their safety) after a defeat.

Here in the UK it's a 11.30pm kick-off. Currently on gardening leave (do you guys have this in the USA?) so no problem staying up into the early hours on Monday morning...

Off on weekends. I also took Monday off because regardless of the outcome I am getting drunk. Actually going to go out to watch the game this year. A near by bars owner is a huge pats fan, and there are some others that go there. Hoping to be celebrating with "my own kind"
