NFL has a Patriots problem

What does this even mean?
"I feel we are going to get them when we need to get them. And at any day I feel we can win the Super Bowl."
"get by the Pats" I think is what he means. Meaning he thinks if they get over that hump they would find a way to beat the NFC team whoever it is.

Respectful and complimentary yet confident in their team.

We need more of that and less of Le'veon ''Them Pats are lucky i didn't play or else!'' Bell.
yeah and we didn't have Gronk either. Both are studs so you could call it a wash.. however I would not, because arming Brady with Gronk is like having an A-10 Warthog on your team.

Umm, guys, you know it was a COMPLIMENT, right? Headline writers like to make things sound inflammatory, but if you read Shazier's actual comments this was nothing but respect. The phrase came from a reporter who asked him about the Steelers' having a "Patriots problem" of not being able to top New England, and he responded:

"If you look at it that way, the NFL has a Patriots problem.
...
"They’ve been a great team; they have a great leader; and they just find a way to win"
Does NFL Have A Patriots Problem? Steelers’ Ryan Shazier Believes So

Then he went on to some appropriate platitudes about how confident he feels in his team for the upcoming season.

Lol, well no ****. What does this article tell us that we don't know?

As an old poster on here would have said..

IT IS KNOWN

Typical Steelers. Returned to the AFCCG for the first time in six seasons, got embarrassed, and now act like they are a mainstay assured to be back there with their defensive coordinator already talking about their new plans to dethrone the Patriots. They were much closer to losing to the Chiefs than they were to beating the Patriots. I think they should focus on building a team that can consistently win their division rather than assuming they'll even be back to where they were.

Their fans keep whining about their division being so tough while the Patriots get HFA for playing a cake division. The AFC North was 26-37-1 last season. The AFC East was 36-28. It's always a combination of delusional excuses and delusional optimism with that team.

Saying the NFL has a Patriots problem isn't exactly respectful though.

We're gonna see nonstop Pats national stuff leading up to camp, in camp, and early in the season at least

The media has already dubbed them a super team, the media, not the Pats, started 19-0 talk.... The media is building them up only to beat them down when the Pats have their inevitable bad game

I'm just waiting for more "blueprint" talk should the Pats start out like a house of fire...remember, supposedly Houston had the blueprint last year - at least that's what felger, Breer, Bedard etc told me..... And Pittsburgh would use that in AFC title game.... Howd that work out

“Tribute to excellence“

Great take .. and respect from Darren Woodson . on the culture of excellence:
