HK is 13 hours ahead of EST, so I'm considering buying this service, as described at http://sports.yahoo.com/nflgamepass, to avoid having to wake up at 2 a.m. Monday mornings to watch Sunday 1 p.m. games on my Slingbox.

Does anyone have any experience with gamepass? How long is each game archived? Would I have any issue watching a game in its entirety within a day of its ending?

Thanks for any input. Yahoo's description of the service is quite lacking.

I bought one week last year and then it allowed you watch all of the games on archive for several days (I think until the next week's games began). I didn't keep it because even on the fastest connection I could find at the office here in Jakarta, it was choppy. If you are in HK, you might fare better, although my friend in Singapore had a tough time with it as well. The quality is very high, which makes the required internet speed also high.

Another alternative is to download a bit torrent version of the game at a site like www.tenyardtorrents.com Usually the games appear the next day and I can download them overnight in about 10-12 hours in Jakarta. My guess would be it is faster in HK. This alternative is a lot cheaper than the yahoo offer which I think is quite expensive if you only want to watch Pats games. If you are interested in other games, then the yahoo package might be better.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. The internet speed is pretty slow in HK, too, at least compared to the US. Better than in China, though, where it's basically like dial-up.
