Question: So how much practice time does the NFLPA allow during these extended periods between games? And what is the maximum allowable time for each practice. Can Brady take his WRs over to Kraft's estate and hold secret practices on the south forty....maybe dress up like landscapers, cabana boys, or acting coaches.
Brady is gonna have one tired arm by next Sunday!

PS...Did Tebow's floaters and dribblers waste precious practice reps during camp?

They must get one day off every seven days.

Teams are limited to just 14 padded practices for the entire season, a fact that was overlooked by the media 'experts' who were questioning why the Pats only had walk throughs last week.

Of those 14 practices in pads eleven of those sessions must be held in the first 11 weeks, and teams can hold no more than two padded practices per week.

Teams have to give the players at least one full day off every week.

All padded practices are limited to three hours max.

Good question about whether players can conduct their own practice sessions. Obviously it is okay to do so in the off season, but I'm not sure how much scrutiny there would be in season. Even if it's not off-site, can the players stick around for another hour on the field after the coaches have left, without having to answer to either the NFLPA or Da Commissar?
