I read it and it only amounted to Maye saying “I heard the fans have been wanting those throwback blues, those would be sick”. I’d love to see them back too, but it doesn’t come off to me as hinting anything.

I wish there was a way to permanently turn off the “latest Patriots media news” section at the top of the forum with all its clickbait headlines.

Ah I missed that part then. Very interesting. I hope that's the case, where he almost let it slip. I'd love to see the royal blues again, even if they're just alternates a few times a year.

Typically, pro athletes don't talk about the uniforms they're wearing, unless it's something positive and harmless.

If they play on one of those teams in the minority who retain their recognized and liked (and classy) logo and uniform, they usually mention the pride they feel putting it on.

All of the former Patriots I've ever spoken to, including those who played for Kraft, love and prefer the Pat Patriot primary red uniform.

The Patriots' makeover perpetrated by Orthwein is similar to the Klingons' transformation into the gory, weird, ugly mutated version in Star Trek TNG. Lots of people like it. "Cool!"

Maye is a good young kid whose energy and positivity are immensely important right now to the whole franchise.

Looking back, Bill Parcells' terse, tepid response to the uniform change implemented only weeks after his hiring was in contrast to most fans' loud, total, unpublicized rebuke.

I never heard Tom Brady utter a peep about the uniforms. Only his sarcastic tweet when they could finally use the alternate helmets again: "Really? Now?" - three years after he stopped playing for us.

My big issue with the existing uni’s are the ridiculous shoulder stripes just stopping at the seam half way down. That’s not the case here.

Even if there's truth in that, it doesn't change the fact that the current uniforms leave much to be desired.

Get rid of the shoulder stripes and they'd look clean. That's the main thing I don't like about the uniforms from 2000-present - the unnecessary shoulder stripe.
