While it is a thing of beauty in isolation, in the game context it was more amazing. The third play in a sequence of 4 plays in which the Patriots scored 3 TDs. Long pass to Vareen, buttfumble TD, then Edelman recovered a fumble on the ensuing kickoff and scored again

That season later ended in disappointment for us (as did the previous one), but in between there was, and always will be, The Buttfumble... I mean, the dude ran RIGHT INTO the other dude's butt, as if it were invisible...WTF Saycheese?

It’s extremely important to note that the Butt Fumble was just one amazing part of a larger historic sequence of Jets failure where they gave up 3 TDs in around 60 seconds.
