NEW ARTICLE: Daily Patriots News and NFL Notes: 5 Things to Know – 6/9

"Green Bay essentially made the same miscalculation about Rodgers that New England did with Tom Brady, but at least the Patriots didn’t use a first-round pick when they took Jimmy Garoppolo in 2014. Garoppolo was a 2nd round pick taken at 62 overall, and unlike the Packers, it didn’t cost New England a potential impact player in the first round."

You do remember on whom Bill did use his 1st-rounder that same draft, right?

I stopped following college ball a few years before that draft, so I really had no clue who was in the draft. After spending a little bit of time in the draft threads here my thoughts on draft day eve were that I'd be happy if they took anyone with the first 2 picks except for the DL guy with 2 bad knees and a QB.
